Understanding the DPIA Section

The 'DPIA' tab within the DPIA is where your Information Sharing data is held and input into for review by the other Contributors and Yourself to allow quick and easy competition of a DPIA as the information is always up to date. 

The DPIA Section also drives the Risk Assessment as the answers that you provide in the questions which have a drop-down element to them will depend on what outcome the Risk Assessment provides you in terms of risk rating, for more information on the Risk Assessment, please see that section of our guide.

The section is split up into 2 sections which are further split up into 9 sections, these are:

  • Lawfulness
  • Consent

  • Individual rights
  • Data Standard
  • Security

When designing our DPIA template starting in late 2019 we reviewed over 30+ DPIA templates from our Founding Organisations and Development Group Organisations all across different aspects of the Public and Private Sectors to arrive at the 87 questions within the DPIA tab today.
