Article summary

The Data Flow within a Data Sharing Summary is where your information sharing information is held, there are 7 Sections to the Data Flow which are as follows:

If you would like further details on these tabs please click on the name of the tab above. The Data Flow and Privacy tabs are described within this area.

Data Flow

The Data Flow tab with your Data Flow is where you provide the Data Flow with a name, you are able to insert your Modes and Controls, Choose which electronic platform that is going to be sharing your Data and much more.

The Data Flow also lets you be very specific when selecting which organisations you are going to be sharing with by allowing you to select from the organisations again from those that you have input at the Data Sharing Summary level. To find out why this is so useful, check out the guide shown below:

Privacy

The privacy tab is a pre-GDPR Mini DPIA template, all of the questions within the section are within the DPIA section so we would suggest creating a full DPIA. If you do however want to use this section there are multiple dropdowns that serve all sorts of Data Sharing uses such as Law Enforcement and Access right for Personal Information.

The Privacy tab is only included when using the default ISG template, and is not included when using the WASPI template.
