How to send for Approval

Article summary

To request approval for your DPIA click the 'Request Approval' button at the bottom of the Approval tab page.



A pop up will then appear listing all the contributors that you have previously added through the Contact tab. Click the tick box next to the names of the users you wish to send the Approval Request to, set your Review by date then click 'OK' to confirm.

If a user who you wish to send an Approval Request to does not appear in the list ensure you add them as a contributor to your DPIA by using the Contacts tab. For more information on adding contacts to your DPIA see Add a Contact

Please note that as soon as an Approval has been requested the DPIA will be locked for editing. If changes need to be made to your DPIA the approver will need to reject the DPIA, then once changes are made the author can send for approval once again.
